What is a mobile check deposit?

A mobile check deposit is a new feature that allows you to deposit a physical check into your Comun bank account through your Comun app. Using the mobile check deposit feature, you can deposit money into your Comun account directly from the app and see the funds reflected in your account within a few days.

Why is it important to endorse a mobile check?

Endorsing a check validates that the money from the check belongs only to you and that the mobile check is valid. The endorsement of the check is important to protect the money being received from the check.

It is essential to endorse a mobile check to ensure it is approved and successfully deposited into the bank account.

Important:

  • The mobile check will be rejected if it is not endorsed correctly.

  • If your check has a box for mobile deposits, make sure to check it as completed. It usually says "Check here for mobile deposits."

What is endorsing?


Endorsing is the act of signing and writing on the back of the check to indicate which bank the mobile check is intended for. The endorsement must include the following information to be accepted:

  • Your handwritten signature

  • Handwritten one of the following phrases:

    "For mobile deposit at CFSB"
    "For mobile deposit at Comun"

If you prefer to write it in Spanish, you can also write it as follows:

"Para depósito móvil en CFSB"
"Para depósito móvil en Comun"
