Read about how to withdraw and deposit money between your bank accounts with Comun

Updated over 2 months ago

With your Comun account, you have the option to connect your external bank accounts to your Comun account using Plaid. With this option, you can deposit and withdraw money into and from your Comun account quickly and securely. 🎉

You just need to link your Comun account data (account number) with the bank data (account number) of your external bank account in the USA.

You can only connect bank accounts that meet the following requirements:

  • Bank account from a bank in the USA 🇺🇸.

  • Bank account in your name (the same name as on your Comun account).

  • Active bank account.

With Plaid, you can withdraw and deposit with bank accounts that belong to you. Here are the steps:

1. Open your Comun app.

2. Go to the "Movement of my money" section.

3. Select "Transfer to an external bank account."

4. Enter the login details of your external bank account (for example, Bank of America, Chase, Western Union, etc.) to connect Comun with Plaid. If you don’t remember your bank account details, look them up to continue.

5. Confirm the details.

6. Once the connection is confirmed, you can select the amount you want to deposit or withdraw from your bank account to your Comun account.

7. You can switch between withdrawing or depositing by selecting the arrow next to the accounts to confirm if you are depositing or withdrawing from your Comun account.

Important: Transfers between bank accounts are only possible between bank accounts with your name in the United States. 🇺🇸
