Does the person paying me through Pay need a Común account?

No.
The person sending you money doesn’t need to have a Común account or download the app. It's all done through the web page.

They just need to:

  1. Open your payment link or scan your QR code.

  2. Enter their U.S. personal debit card (no credit or prepaid cards without funds).

  3. Verify their phone number via a security code sent by SMS.

  4. Create a passcode to confirm future payments.

  5. Confirm the amount to send.

Once the payment is completed, you’ll receive the money instantly in your Común account.

💡 Important:

  • The sender doesn’t register, but must verify identity for security.

  • If they don’t get the code or can’t complete the payment, they can retry or contact soporte@comun.app.
