Referral program

Note: This offer is provided by Comun, Inc. ("Comun"), not Community Federal Savings Bank ("CFSB") or Piermont Bank, and CFSB and Piermont Bank are not parties to this offer.

DISCLOSURE

Banking services associated with your Comun account are provided by Community Federal Savings Bank; Member FDIC. Your balance held at CFSB is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") for up to two hundred and fifty thousand US dollars ($250,000). All deposit accounts of the same ownership and/or vesting held at CFSB are combined and insured under the same FDIC coverage. Comun is a financial technology company and not a bank.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") govern your participation in this limited-time, referral program promotion, as offered by Comun and effective from June 11, 2026 ("Referral Program"). This Referral Program shall continue until Comun sets an end date, after which no further Rewards (as defined in Section 1) shall be paid out. The Referral Program is available only to certain eligible Comun account holders ("Referrers"). To be eligible to participate in the Referral Program, a Referrer must: (a) hold an approved and open Comun deposit demand account ("Comun DDA") in good standing, (b) have previously successfully completed at least one (1) outbound transaction matching the categories defined in Section 2, (c) not be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other agreements or terms entered into between you and Comun, and (d) be eighteen (18) years of age or older and a U.S. resident. Comun reserves the right to disqualify any Referrer at its sole discretion.

1. REWARDS

For each Successful Referral (as defined in Section 3), the Referrer shall receive a cash credit of fifteen U.S. dollars ($15.00 USD) deposited directly into their Comun DDA ("Referrer Reward"). The person referred through a Successful Referral ("Referee") shall additionally receive a cash credit of five U.S. dollars ($5.00 USD) deposited into their Comun DDA upon completing a Qualifying First Outflow (as defined in Section 2) ("Referee Reward"). The Referrer Reward and the Referee Reward collectively constitute the "Rewards."

2. QUALIFYING FIRST OUTFLOW

A "Qualifying First Outflow" is the first successful and non-reversed transaction executed using the Referee's approved Comun DDA that is in good standing. Such transaction must be one of the following:

(a) A purchase using their Comun debit card;

(b) An international remittance transfer initiated from their Comun DDA;

(c) A cash withdrawal at an automated teller machine ("ATM");

(d) An outgoing ACH transfer from their Comun DDA to an external account.

The following types of transactions DO NOT qualify as a Qualifying First Outflow:

(a) Peer-to-peer ("P2P") transfers of any kind, including but not limited to transfers between Comun accounts, transfers to external debit cards, and transfers via third-party services such as Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, or Pal;

(b) Fees, refunds, dispute credits, ATM fees, account adjustments, reversals, or any non-customer-initiated debit;

(c) Transactions that are subsequently reversed, returned, or charged back within sixty (60) days;

(d) Transactions using non-DDA accounts, including Comun Wallets .

3. SUCCESSFUL REFERRAL

A referral by the Referrer shall be considered as a "Successful Referral" when ALL of the following conditions are met:

(a) The Referee downloads the Comun mobile application using the Referrer's unique invitation link;

(b) The Referee opens a new Comun DDA and completes account approval;

(c) The Referee completes a Qualifying First Outflow;

(d) No fraudulent, abusive, or self-referral activity is detected (see Section 6).

4. REWARD DELIVERY

Rewards will be credited to the respective Comun accounts within five (5) calendar days following the verification of a Successful Referral. Both Rewards are issued as cash credits and may be used freely by the recipients.

5. ANNUAL CAP

A Referrer may receive Referrer Rewards for a maximum of ten (10) Successful Referrals per calendar year. Additional Successful Referrals beyond the tenth (10th) Successful Referral within a calendar year will not generate a Referrer Reward; however, the Referee in such cases shall still receive the Referee Reward if they complete a Qualifying First Outflow and meet all other eligibility requirements. The Referrer will be notified in-app prior to sharing their invitation link when they have reached the cap. A person may only be referred once.

6. ELIGIBILITY, FRAUD PREVENTION, AND ABUSE

Participants may only refer family members and personal friends. Participants must not publish or distribute their referral link in public locations (online or otherwise) where the audience is likely to include persons who are not their family or personal friends. Violation may result in disqualification at Comun's sole discretion.

The following actions are expressly prohibited and will result in forfeiture of Rewards and possible account suspension:

(a) Self-referral — where the Referrer and Referee are the same individual, share the same device, share the same identity documents, or are otherwise controlled by the same person;

(b) Use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, scripted, macro, or any other automated means of generating referrals;

(c) Use of multiple email addresses, phone numbers, identities, registrations, or logins to generate referrals;

(d) Any activity Comun reasonably believes constitutes fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms and Conditions, including using fake legal names during account signup.

Comun reserves the right to revoke and claw back any Reward already credited within sixty (60) days after the Successful Referral if any of the above actions in this Section 6 is detected. Comun reserves the right to review, investigate, suspend, or close accounts and to modify or void referrals as deemed fair and appropriate at its sole discretion.

7. TAX TREATMENT

The value of any Reward may constitute taxable income. The recipient of any Reward is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes resulting from the Rewards and should consult a tax advisor with any questions regarding the tax treatment of Rewards.

8. DATA SHARING

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, Participants agree to share the application status and Reward status of their referrals with the owner of the referral link, solely for the purpose of operating this program. Storage, usage, and processing of any personal data received through this Referral Program shall be done according to Comun's Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.comun.app/en/legal/comun-privacy-policy.

9. GENERAL TERMS

This promotion is not valid with any other offer and is not transferable. Offer available to U.S. residents only who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Invitation links do not expire unless Comun cancels the promotion or the account is closed, in which case all unused referral links are ineligible. Comun is not responsible for incorrect entries, lost, incomplete, damaged, illegible, late, or misdirected entries, or for errors in mechanical transmission, unavailability of telephone lines or connections, cellular telephone service, or any other technical malfunction or inability to transmit messages or participations.

Comun reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time without prior notice. Comun may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. Any changes will be effective only after the effective date of the change and will not affect any dispute arising prior to the effective date of the change. If Comun amends these Terms and Conditions, the modification will be posted on Comun's website and/or mobile app and will be effective upon posting. No Reward will be earned in cases where the Qualifying First Outflow occurs after Comun's cancellation of the promotion.
