Note: This Referral Program is offered and administered by Comun, Inc. ("Comun"). Community Federal Savings Bank ("CFSB") is not a sponsor, administrator, or party to this Referral Program.
DISCLOSURE
Comun is a financial technology company and not a bank. Banking services are provided by Community Federal Savings Bank; Member FDIC. Funds deposited in your account are FDIC insured through Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB), Member FDIC, up to the applicable limits, in the event CFSB fails. Pay, international remittance services, and certain other services offered through the Comun platform are provided by Comun and/or its service providers.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") govern your participation in this limited-time, referral program promotion offered by Comun and effective as of June 11, 2026 ("Referral Program"). This Referral Program shall continue until Comun establishes an end date, after which no further Rewards (as defined in Section 1) will be paid.
The Referral Program is available only to eligible Comun account holders ("Referrers"). To be eligible to participate in the Referral Program, a Referrer must: (a) hold an approved and open Comun deposit account ("Comun DDA") in good standing; (b) have previously successfully completed at least one (1) outbound transaction matching the categories defined in Section 2; (c) not be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other agreement between the Referrer and Comun; and (d) be eighteen (18) years of age or older and a resident of the United States. Comun reserves the right to disqualify any Referrer at its sole discretion.
1. REWARDS
For each Successful Referral (as defined in Section 3), the Referrer will receive a cash credit of fifteen U.S. dollars ($15.00 USD) deposited into the Referrer’s Comun DDA ("Referrer Reward"). The person referred through a Successful Referral ("Referee") will receive a cash credit of five U.S. dollars ($5.00 USD) deposited into the Referee’s Comun DDA upon completion of a Qualifying First Outflow (as defined in Section 2) ("Referee Reward"). The Referrer Reward and Referee Reward are collectively referred to as the "Rewards."
2. QUALIFYING FIRST OUTFLOW
A "Qualifying First Outflow" is the first successful and non-reversed transaction executed using the Referee's approved Comun DDA that is open and in good standing. Such transaction must be one of the following:
(a) A purchase using a Comun debit card;
(b) An international remittance transfer initiated through the Comun platform using funds from the Referee’s Comun DDA;
(c) A cash withdrawal at an automated teller machine ("ATM");
(d) An outgoing ACH transfer from the Referee’s Comun DDA to an external account.
The following types of transactions DO NOT qualify as a Qualifying First Outflow:
(a) Peer-to-peer ("P2P") transfers of any kind, including but not limited to transfers between Comun accounts, transfers to external debit cards, or transfers via third-party services such as Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal;
(b) Fees, refunds, dispute credits, ATM fees, account adjustments, reversals, or any non-customer-initiated debit;
(c) Transactions that are subsequently reversed, returned, or charged back within sixty (60) days; or
(d) Transactions initiated solely through non-DDA products or services, including Pay.
3. SUCCESSFUL REFERRAL
A referral by a Referrer will be considered a "Successful Referral" when all of the following conditions are met:
(a) The Referee downloads the Comun mobile application using the Referrer's unique invitation link;
(b) The Referee opens a new Comun DDA and successfully completes the account approval process;
(c) The Referee completes a Qualifying First Outflow; and
(d) No fraudulent, abusive, or self-referral activity is detected (see Section 6).
4. REWARD DELIVERY
Rewards will be credited to the applicable Comun DDA within five (5) calendar days following verification of a Successful Referral. Rewards are issued as cash credits and may be used by the recipients in accordance with the terms applicable to their Comun DDA.
5. ANNUAL CAP
A Referrer may receive Referrer Rewards for a maximum of ten (10) Successful Referrals during each calendar year. Additional Successful Referrals beyond the tenth (10th) Successful Referral in a calendar year will not generate a Referrer Reward or a Referee Reward. The Referrer will be notified in-app prior to sharing their invitation link when the annual cap has been reached. A person may only be referred once.
6. ELIGIBILITY, FRAUD PREVENTION, AND ABUSE
Participants may only refer family members and personal friends. Participants must not publish or distribute referral link in public locations (online or otherwise) where the audience is likely to include individuals who are not family members or personal friends. Violation of this requirement may result in disqualification from the Referral Program at Comun's sole discretion.
The following actions are expressly prohibited and will result in forfeiture of Rewards and suspension or closure of an account:
(a) Self-referral, including where the Referrer and Referee are the same individual, share the same device, share the same identity documents, or are otherwise controlled by the same person;
(b) The use of robotic, repetitive, automated, programmed, scripted, macro-based, or other automated means of generating referrals;
(c) The use of multiple email addresses, phone numbers, identities, registrations, or logins to generate referrals; or
(d) Any activity that Comun reasonably believes constitutes fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms and Conditions, including the use of false or fictitious names during account signup.
Comun reserves the right to revoke, reverse, or recover any Reward already credited within sixty (60) days after the Successful Referral if any of the above actions described in this Section 6 is detected. Comun reserves the right to review, investigate, suspend, restrict, or close accounts and to modify, deny, or void referrals as deemed fair and appropriate at its sole discretion.
7. TAX TREATMENT
The value of any Reward may constitute taxable income. Each recipient of any Reward is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes resulting from the Reward and should consult a tax advisor with any questions regarding the tax treatment of any Reward.
8. DATA SHARING
By participating in the Referral Program, Participants consent to Comun sharing information regarding the status of a referral, including application status and Reward status with the owner of the referral link solely for purposes of administering the Referral Program. The collection, use, storage, and processing of any personal data in connection with the Referral Program will be governed by Comun's Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.comun.app/en/legal/comun-privacy-policy.
9. GENERAL TERMS
This Referral Program may not be combined with any other offer and is not transferable. The Referral Program is available to U.S. residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Referral invitation links do not expire unless Comun terminates the Referral Program or the applicable account is closed, in which case any unused referral links will become invalid. Comun is not responsible for incorrect, lost, incomplete, damaged, illegible, late, misdirected, or failed entries, nor for any technical, hardware, software, network, telecommunications, or transmission failures that may affect participation in the Referral Program.
Comun reserves the right to terminate, suspend, modify, or cancel the Referral Program at any time and without prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Comun may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendment will be effective upon posting the revised Terms and Conditions on Comun's website or mobile application, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Any amendment will apply prospectively and will not affect disputes arising before the effective date of the amendment. No Reward will be earned if the Qualifying First Outflow occurs after the Referral Program has been terminated or cancelled.
