You can deposit cash into your Comun account without using a physical card! On the “Move Money” section of your app, choose deposit cash and click on your preferred store. Once you click on the location, you will be able to click on “see barcode” if this location enables a cardless cash deposit. You will only be able to generate a barcode for a retailer that is within 15 miles of your current location.

You can show the barcode to a cashier in your chosen location. Take a government-issued ID with you (from any country) as some cashiers may want to verify your identity before scanning the barcode. The cashier will scan the barcode and ask you for the cash you want to deposit into your account. You can deposit a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $500 per transaction, but some stores will allow you to deposit up to $1,000. You will be able to see the store limit clicking on the store location in your Comun app.

The barcode will only be available for 15 minutes. Make sure you go to the physical location first and generate the barcode from your app once you are already in the store. If there is a long line, generate the barcode while you are waiting, so that the barcode does not expire once you get to the cashier. You can generate an unlimited number of new barcodes in case the one you generated expired, simply generate a new one.

Always protect your account! You can block your card from your app to make sure it's only activated when you want to use it.
