What changes will ZELLE have in 2025?️
We know how important it is for you to send and receive money quickly and securely. We want to inform you that, starting January 8, 2025, Zelle will no longer accept the creation of new users. This means that:
If you do not have a Zelle account yet, you will not be able to create a new one or link it to your Común account.
However, if you already have an active account, you will still be able to send and receive money through Zelle until March 31, 2025.
If you already have a bank account linked to Zelle, you will not be able to make the change with your Común account.
Why are these changes being made?️
This decision was made by Zelle and is beyond our control, but at Común, we offer other alternatives for making transfers, which you can read about below.This decision by Zelle affects all platforms and was not limited to Común.

How can I continue transferring and receiving money with my Común account without Zelle?
Just like in Zelle you could connect any debit card in the app, in Común you can also do it — using Pay!
That means that if you want to send or receive money from someone who uses Zelle with their bank, they just need to add their debit card to Común so you can start sending or receiving money through Pay.

How to Set Up and Use Alternatives
ComúnYa!: Open the Común app, navigate to the ComúnYa! section, and start transferring money instantly.
Third-Party Apps: Follow app-specific steps to link PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp in the Común application for seamless integration. Most setups take under 5 minutes.
