Terms and Conditions
This promotional referral offer (the "Promotion") is provided by Comun, Inc. ("Comun"), not by Community Federal Savings Bank.
This Promotion will start on [April 1, 2025] and will remain in force until Comun decides to suspend or terminate it at its sole discretion (the "Promotional Period"). All active Comun account holders who are in good standing, meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these terms and conditions ("T&C"), and have directly received the invitation code or link (each, an "Invite") to participate (each, a "Participant," and collectively, the “Participants”) may take part in the Promotion. Under this Promotion, both the Participant who refers a new user (the “Referrer”) and the new user referred through the Referrer's Invite to use ComunYa (the “Referee”), may each receive a reward of 10 USD (the "Reward"), if they meet the eligibility criteria specified in these T&C. The Promotion applies exclusively to the first ComunYa transaction that the Referee successfully completes through the Comun Mobile Banking app (the "App"). Once this transaction is successfully completed, the Reward will be credited to both the Referrer and the Referee within five (5) business days. A referral is considered valid only if the Referee successfully opens their account through the Invite provided by the Referrer and carries out the first ComunYa transaction successfully within the Promotional Period.
Each Referrer may earn a Reward for up to three (3) successful referrals during the Promotional Period. After reaching this limit, the Referrer will not be eligible for any additional Rewards, even if additional Referee accounts are opened using their received Invites.
Only transactions conducted through the App during the Promotional Period are eligible for this Promotion. This Promotion is non-transferable and is not valid with any other offer. The Promotion is available only to U.S. residents who are 18 or older. Participants must use their own legal name and agree to share their application data and reward status with Comun. You may only refer family and friends. Any distribution of an Invite in public places (online or otherwise) where the audience is likely to include people who are not your family or friends may result in your disqualification from the Promotion.
Changes to the Promotion
Comun reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time and without prior notice. Comun may amend these T&C at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. Any changes will only be effective after the effective date of the change and will not affect any dispute arising before that date. If Comun amends the T&C, the modification will be posted on Comun’s website and/or the App and will be effective upon posting.
Compliance and Disqualification
Comun reserves the right to review and investigate all Promotion activities and to suspend or close Comun accounts or modify referrals as it deems fair and appropriate in its sole discretion. Any use of automated or repetitive means, entry methods, or agents is prohibited and will void all entries submitted by that Participant. This includes, without limitation, the usage of macros, contest entry services, and multiple email addresses, identities, registrations, or logins. If Comun notices any activity that it believes is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these T&C, Comun reserves the right to revoke a Reward rewarded within the previous sixty (60) days and/or cancel future eligibility for Rewards. Comun further reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant at any time, with or without notice.
Liability
Comun is not responsible for any incorrect, incomplete, late, damaged, lost, misdirected, or otherwise illegible entries or other failures on your part to meet the eligibility criteria of the Promotion and is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from such failures. Comun is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from any mechanical transmission errors, lack of availability of telephone lines or connections, mobile phone service, inability to transmit messages or entries, or any other technical malfunctions.
The value of this bonus may constitute taxable income. The recipient of the Reward should consult a tax advisor if there are questions about the tax treatment of the Rewards. Comun is not liable for any taxes or penalties resulting from the distribution or receipt of the Rewards.
