To change your mobile number, you need to contact our team, and you will be asked for the following information: Comun takes several precautions to ensure your information remains secure and private during this process.
Your current phone number.
Your new phone number.
Remember that only one mobile number can be connected to a single account. It is not possible to connect more than one account with the same mobile number.
If you have more than one account with Comun, we will need to cancel one of your accounts so that your mobile number is only connected to one account.
Contact our support team via email (ayuda@comun.app) or chat to verify your identity and make the change to your mobile number.
Additional Notes
Changing Multiple Details: If you want to update your email as well, include your current and new email addresses when contacting support.
Verification Issues: If the secure link expires or doesn’t work, simply contact support to request a new link.
Identity Verification Process
To validate your identity:
Click the Verification Link: A secure link will be provided by support. This is often valid for a short time.
Take a Selfie: On the linked external page, upload a clear selfie ensuring sufficient lighting and proper framing with no obstructions.
Submit Your Details: Complete the form as per instructions provided on the verification page.
Post-Verification Steps
After you successfully verify your identity:
Comun’s team will confirm that your phone number has been updated.
To view the changes, simply close and reopen the app to ensure the update is synchronized. You can also start the process through our in-app chat or by calling Comun support directly using the number provided in your app.
