How do I add money into my account?

Común offers several easy ways to add money to your account 💸
You can find all deposit options in the Move Money section of your app.


💵 Cash deposits

You can deposit cash in 2 ways:

At an AllPoint+ ATM

Use your physical Común card to deposit cash at participating AllPoint+ ATMs.

You can find nearby ATM locations in the Cash section of your app.

With a barcode

Generate a barcode directly from your app and deposit cash at participating stores — no physical card needed.

🏦 Direct deposit

You can connect your payroll or benefits deposit directly to your Común account for faster access to your money.

You can find setup instructions in the app.

🔄 Transfer money from another bank

To transfer money from another bank account:

  1. Open the Común app

  2. Go to Move Money

  3. Select Bank Transfers

  4. Tap Transfer money to Común

  5. Select Add another bank account

  6. Verify your identity with the code sent to your phone

Once connected, you can transfer money between your banks and Común.

📲 Receive money with Pay

You can request money instantly from friends or family using Pay.

To use it:

  1. Open Pay

  2. Connect your contacts

  3. Select the person you want to request money from

  4. Or share your payment link

If they don’t have Común yet, they can sign up in minutes and send you money using their debit card 💳

🧾 Mobile check deposit

You can deposit eligible checks directly from your app:

  1. Open the Común app

  2. Go to Move Money

  3. Select Check Deposit

  4. Enter the check details

  5. Sign the back of the check and write:
    “For mobile deposit at CFSB”

  6. Upload photos of the front and back of the check

Once submitted, your check will be reviewed for processing.

💸 ACH Transfers

You can also receive ACH transfers directly into your Común account using your:

  • Routing number

  • Account number

You can find both in your Común app 📲

  • Go to the Settings section

  • Find your routing and account number under Account and Statements

👉 Your routing and account numbers do not change, even if you replace your card.


🔗 Connect payment apps

You can also connect payment apps like:

  • Venmo

  • Cash App

  • PayPal

This allows you to transfer money between those apps and your Común account more easily.​
