🔐 What is my access code and what is it used for?

Updated over 2 months ago

Your access code is a 4-digit code used to log in to your Común app securely.

👉 It helps you:

  • Sign in to the app

  • Keep your account and information protected

  • Make sure only you can access your account

📱 Important:

  • The access code is only for the app, not for payments or ATM withdrawals.

  • It’s different from your PIN, which is used with your physical card.

  • Every Común user has an access code.

🔁 How do I reset or change my access code?

You can do this directly from your Común app. The steps depend on whether your email is verified.

If your email is verified

  1. Open the Común app and tap “Log in”

  2. Enter your phone number

  3. Select “Reset access code”

  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your registered email

  5. Create and confirm a new 4-digit access code

  6. If enabled, confirm using biometrics or Face ID

Done! 😊

🟡 If your email is NOT verified

  1. Open the Común app and tap “Log in”

  2. Enter your phone number

  3. Select “Reset access code”

  4. Follow the instructions shown in the app and tap “Continue”

  5. Take a selfie and wait for verification

Done! 😊
Once completed, you’ll be able to log in using your new access code.
