Can my data be deleted when I close my account?

As a financial institution, we are required by federal and state laws (including anti-money laundering regulations) to retain certain transaction and identity records for a mandatory period, generally between 5 and 10 years. This was accepted in the Terms and Conditions when you created your Común account.

To respect your privacy and address your request, we can remove non-essential personal data from our systems.

Additionally, we will take the following actions:

  • We will immediately stop using your data for marketing purposes.

  • We will delete non-essential personal information.

  • We will securely archive records that we are legally required to keep and automatically delete them once the legal retention period expires.

If you would like to request the deletion of non-essential data, please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to help.
